Cloud service. Effective November 3, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of the Ledger Brothers cloud service at cloud.ledgerbrothers.com (the "Service"), provided by Paemonteon Studios, doing business as Ledger Brothers ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service lets you use Ledger Brothers inventory ledgers with your data saved to your account and synced between your devices. It is a tool for counting and tracking stock, not accounting, tax or legal software.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Give a real email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account was accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one business; do not share it outside that business.
Cloud access is a monthly subscription of $9.99 per month sold through Gumroad, which handles payment, taxes and billing under its own terms. It renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time through Gumroad; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Prices for future renewals may change with notice. Refunds: if the Service is not right for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment by replying to your Gumroad receipt or emailing support@ledgerbrothers.com, and we will refund that payment in full. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You can cancel renewals at any time.
Your data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you. You are responsible for what you enter. Do not store payment card numbers, passwords, health information or government ID numbers in the ledgers. Keep your own backups with the ledger's Back up now and CSV export features; we make reasonable efforts to protect your data but do not promise it can never be lost.
Do not break the law, attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the Service, reverse engineer or copy the ledgers, resell access, or use automated tools to bulk-copy the ledger files. Your use of the ledger software is also covered by the License terms for your edition.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or stop parts of the Service. If we end the Service entirely, we will give notice and a chance to export your data.
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms, are used to harm others, or are not paid for. When access ends, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service, ledgers, code, design and the Ledger Brothers name belong to Paemonteon Studios and are protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Counts, alerts and values depend on what you enter. Check stock, expiry dates and food safety yourself.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Texas law governs these Terms. Please email us first so we can try to resolve a problem within 30 days. Otherwise, claims may be brought in the state or federal courts in Williamson County or Travis County, Texas, or in small-claims court where you live. Nothing removes consumer rights you have under your local law.
We may update these Terms and will post the new version with a new date; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the License terms are the whole agreement about the Service. If part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
